Earlier this week, the Evening Leader revealed how a couple from the Sontley Road area outside Wrexham returned home at about 7.40pm to watch in amazement as five brightly-lit objects soared overhead.At first, they thought they might have been seeing a helicopter until they realised the objects were completely silent.The man said: "At first there was just one of them, then another two of these things went over our home, followed by another two."As they passed overhead some of them just seemed to vanish into thin air but one or two of them appeared to shoot off at high speed."The man's wife said: "I really thought aliens were coming to get me."These lights were coming from the direction of Rhostyllen and heading towards Marchwiel."Soon after our story appeared, we were contacted by Kara Edwards, of Tan-y-Coed, who claimed she had seen the same lights at exactly the same time.Kara, 25, said: "I was up in my bedroom at about 7.45pm on Sunday and was looking out of the window towards Abenbury when I saw these orange objects in the sky."At first I thought they were planes but there were too many of them and after going over the house they shot off at high speed."She added: "I couldn't believe what I had just seen and texted all my friends to tell them about it."None of them believed me and thought I was joking - but I know what I saw."The helilog of North Wales Police shows the lights are unlikely to have been the force helicopter, which was quite some distance away at the time of the sightings.Sunday's reports come as the latest in a long line of possible UFO sightings over the Wrexham area.

Generalmente attendiamo prima di segnalare avvistamenti che non sono stati in qualche modo verificati nella loro attendibilità, ma il caso dell'Aereoporto di O'Hare, Chicago, del novembre 2006 costituisce uno degli avvistamenti più importanti degli ultimi anni per la sua portata e fino ad ora non era stata pubblicata alcuna evidenza filmata o fotografica.Non mancheremo di aggiornare il presente articolo con eventuali novità e approfondimenti sulle indagini in corso, ma nel frattempo abbiamo voluto presentarvi quello che è stato pubblicato pochi giorni fa su Youtube come prova filmata dell'evento, da un testimone che si fa avanti dopo due anni di timorato silenzio.Questa la storia dell’evento: alle 16.30 circa di martedì 7 novembre 2006, le autorità federali dell’Aeroporto Internazionale O’Hare di Chicago ricevono una segnalazione da dodici impiegati dell’aeroporto che stavano osservando un disco volante di forma metallica stazionare immobile sopra all’imbarco C-17.Secondo i rapporti dei testimoni oculari il primo ad avvistare l’oggetto è stato un impiegato alla rampa che stava lavorando al volo 446 delle United Airlines in partenza da Chicago per Charlotte (North Carolina). L’operaio ha quindi informato l’equipaggio del volo della presenza dell’oggetto metallico rotante, immobile sopra all’aereo e sembra quindi che sia il pilota che il co-pilota di questo volo abbiamo potuto a quel punto osservare il disco.L’episodio ha avuto una enorme copertura mediatica e se ne occuparono CNN, CBS, MSNBC, Fox News, Chicago Tribune, NPR, preludio di quanto è avvenuto poi nel 2007 e ancor più nel 2008, anno in cui il fenomeno UFO è tornato prepotentemente alla ribalta dei media a causa dei numerosi avvistamenti di massa, dichiarazioni di personaggi istituzionali e rilasci pubblici di documenti ufficiali.Da una intervista trasmessa sulla CNN sembra che il disco sia stato visibile per circa due minuti e che sia stato visto da circa 12 impiegati aeroportuali, tra cui piloti e supervisori, che si sono passati l’informazione via radio, correndo fuori a vedere.I testimoni hanno segnalato che l’oggetto nella sua sparizione ha letteralmente bucato le nuvole, lasciandosi dietro un cerchio di cielo che si è richiuso dopo pochi minuti. Secondo Jon Hilkevitch del Chicago Tribune, autore dell’intervista, uno dei piloti delle United Airlines era in possesso di una macchina digitale al momento dell’avvistamento e potrebbe aver fotografato l’evento, ma nessuna foto è mai stata resa pubblica.Sia le United Airlines che le Autorità Federali (FAA) hanno prima negato di avere una qualunque informazione sull’accaduto, fin quando il Chicago Tribune tramite una richiesta pubblica di rilascio (FOIA) ha ottenuto la documentazione di una chiamata da un supervisore delle United Airlines ad un dirigente delle Autorità Federali nella torre di controllo, riguardo all’avvistamento.A quel punto la FAA ha dichiarato che l’avvistamento è stato causato da un fenomeno atmosferico e che l’agenzia non avrebbe investigato oltre. Secondo gli ufologi questo era in netta contraddizione con il mandato della FAA di investigare ogni possibile breccia nella sicurezza degli aeroporti americani, come in questo caso un oggetto che è rimasto immobile per due minuti, visto da diverse persone, nello spazio aereo riservato di uno dei più affollati aeroporti del mondo.E’ disponibile in rete e nel presente articolo, anche un “fuori scena” dell’intervista di Jim Wagner, anchor man per la CLTV a Jon Hilkevitch, in cui i due si scambiano opinioni fuori dai denti sull’avvenuto e sul tentativo evidente di cover-up.Tornando alla pubblicazione recente del presunto video, riprendiamo la segnalazione da Examiner.com dove Roger Marsh si ripromette di contattare il testimone per un intervista, cercando di verificare l'attendibilità della prova.Un altro tentativo di approfondimento lo sta portando avanti l'ufologo Jeff Ritzman, che ha seguito da vicino il caso dell'Aeroporto di Chicago, attraverso lo stesso spazio su Youtube in cui è stato pubblicato il video."Posso affermare, - scrive Ritzman - essendo uno dei primi analisti visivi dell'avvistamento, che le condizioni atmosferiche del video non sembrano corrispondere a quelle segnalate per quella giornata e che la forma dell'oggetto non sembra combaciare con quella segnalata dai diretti testimoni. Se l'autore del filmato vuole contattarmi direttamente, posso garantire il suo anonimato, come ho fatto per tutti gli altri testimoni con cui ho parlato di questo caso. Puoi contattarmi direttamente."Una delle motivazioni addotte dall'autore, per cui il video sarebbe stato pubblicato a due anni di distanza, sarebbe la paura di essersi compromesso a motivo del suo ruolo/lavoro.Per quanto possiamo ricordare delle testimonianze rese pubbliche all'epoca, non ci sembra che la descrizione dell'oggetto o delle condizioni atmosferiche differissero molto da quelle del video.Ecco la storia dell'autore del video:"Ho aspettato due anni prima di pubblicare questa prova filmata a causa della natura dei miei trascorsi. Se sapeste chi sono capireste i motivi.Ho solo un minuto di filmato perché il tutto è stato ripreso con il mio telefono cellulare e la memoria era piena.Era il 7 novembre 2006 ed io ero vicino all’Aeroporto Internationale O’Hare di Chicago quando ho potuto osservare uno che considero tra i più importanti eventi ufologici del nostro tempo.Dopo quanto successo molti sono arrivati con false prove, io non posso parlare per loro ma parlo per me stesso.Ho osservato e filmato un UFO enorme stazionare sopra all’Aeroporto, esattamente alle 16.32. L’UFO era scuro, di un colore metallico soffuso, a forma di disco/sigaro. Era a circa 750 metri di altezza, completamente silenzioso e immobile nel cielo ed era sicuramente più lungo di 100 metri.Sono riuscito a filmare l’oggetto con il mio cellulare per un minuto, poi ho potuto osservare ancora l’oggetto per un altro minuto dopo di che l’UFO è sparito verso l’alto ad incredibile velocità.Se osservate bene il video, proprio all’inizio potete vedere uno dei jet passeggeri decollare e volare proprio sotto all’UFO e questo può darvi un’idea di quanto fosse grande.L’oggetto era completamente immobile e il movimento dipende esclusivamente dal tremolio della telecamera. Ho filmato il tutto con lo zoom del cellulare al massimo.”“Avrei voluto rendere pubblica prima la cosa ma questo non mi era possibile a causa del mio lavoro. Questo è il motivo per cui ho pubblicato il video su Youtube. Per quelli che non vogliono credere, posso dire che è una vostra scelta, ma il video è vero e riprende un velivolo sconosciuto ed è una vergogna che i media mondiali abbiano coperto di ridicolo questo incidente."

Fino ad ora, l'unico ad aver dichiarato di possedere fotografie e materiale video dell'evento, è stato l'attore Dan Aykroyd, notoriamente coinvolto nella ricerca ufologica con David Sereda.A quanto pare il progetto dell'attore era quello di rilasciare un nuovo documentario ufo nel 2008, contenente anche in esclusiva mondiale questo materiale, e lo stesso Aykroyd era eccitato all'idea "conterrà le fotografie, il filmato e tutto il resto!".A quanto sembra però a quelle dichiarazioni hanno fatto seguito diversi "problemi" per l'attore che è stato messo sotto "stretta sorveglianza" nel 2007 e attività sospette si sono susseguite presso la sua abitazione e presso gli studi di produzione del documentario. Just over Cordova Mall near the Pensacola Airport, about four or five red lights appeared in the night sky after a fire alarm went off at Washington High School. Just over Cordova Mall near the Pensacola Airport, about four or five red lights appeared in the night sky after a fire alarm went off at Washington High School. A BRIGHT white UFO was spotted over West Ashby on Sunday night.
Darren Hancock, who lives in the village, told the News he witnessed a carrot shaped object moving through the skies in the direction of Coningsby.He said he saw it at about 8pm and it was white with a greenish colour at the front.Mr Hancock said: "You couldn't miss it, it was moving quite fast in a perfect straight line."It was at least the size of two houses, maybe a tower block, and it had a foggy mist around it."It was so bright, big and low and pointed at the front."
