AIRLINE ANNOUNCES FLEET ENHANCEMENT THAT CAN DETECT EXTRA TERRESTRIAL ACTIVITY
The growing number of UFO sightings has led easyJet to become the first airline to install a bespoke windscreen capable of detecting any extra terrestrial activity to its fleet of aircraft.
Pioneering new technology easyJet's team of technicians have been working with leading US engineers for the past decade to develop the windscreen.
The unique windscreen has been formulated with technology that can measure irregular frequency waves and patterns that haven't been created by any other form of known aircraft.
The prototype has undergone rigorous testing and has now been installed into every one of easyJet's 171 aircrafts as a precautionary device.
Paul Simmons, UK general manager for easyJet, said: "I'm aware there is a huge amount of scepticism around extra terrestrial activity but after increasing sightings we've invested heavily to pioneer new technology - we'd be foolish not to."
Just last week the Ministry of Defence issued files detailing scores of sightings of UFOs across the UK dating back to 1987.
Recent sightings include a wind turbine which was allegedly hit by a UFO earlier this year, and of four flying saucers hovering over central London.
Locals in Conisholme, Lincolnshire, were woken by the 4am incident after strange lights were spotted streaking towards the 290ft-tall generator on a wind farm.
The object that struck the turbine near Louth on Sunday dodged others surrounding it and experts could offer no explanation.
Council health and safety officials said even the strongest gale was unlikely to be responsible. The damage has since been referred to as a "unique incident" and even the wind farm company Ecotricity admitted it didn't know what had caused the problem.
Speaking at the time of the incident, UFO expert Russ Kellett, of Flying Saucer Review, told how dozens of reports of mystery objects poured in before the crash. He said: "Balls of light were seen in the sky and the MoD has no explanation. We are very, very excited about this."
More recently, four flying saucers were captured on a mobile camera phone hovering above the skyline of London.
Derek Burdon was taking a scenic picture of the UK capital 16 floors up on the roof top of Orion House in Covent Garden when he noticed the strange objects.
Hillary Potter from The British Earth Aerial Mystery Society (BEAMS) said: "Such incidents have been on the increase recently. There are reports at the moment coming in from all over the country. We've had many reports of people seeing quite large unidentified objects in the skies. It's not going away; it seems these incidents are becoming more bold."
